A TA31 with the ACSS reticle shall remain on my rifle until I pass on. Such is life.
Thank you!
Thank you, Hop. For getting back into your groove and reviewing tf out of gear, not as an Operator, but as a snobby consumer. And I mean that in the best of ways <3
It this was a 1X to 4X, it would be awesome.
So my initial thoughts on this is this really seems like a good optic for lightweight hunting rifle where 3-9 is the standard and losing some weight isn't too bad
Since I first saw it I've assumed it would work better as a 2-7x or 1-3x because those are even older tech than 3-9x and 1-4x designs. But I know nothing of scope making.
Hop just needs to rename the channel to Forgotten Optics
My department got a couple of the eflex red dots when they first came out and we broke every one of them. I know eotech has publically addressed the durability issue so I wouldn't doubt that they actually fixed that
Perfect set up on Tavor!
Mamaaaa! I liked, subscribed, and commented for the algorithm!
It's definitely compact. I was thinking about swapping out my primary arms slx 4-16×44 for their new slx 4-16×44 compact. Great video
Will not buy simply because I hate the name of their Scope line. VUDU.. come on now.
I legit want one for me hunting rifle if I can get it on a huge sale
Did someone from Leupold defect to Eotech?
To be transparent at 53yr old and a life failure, loser, and poor. I wish I could afford to do at least 1/4 the shooting, that Hop and Brass facts do.
A really small, lightweight 3-9x optic that you can mount really low on an RMR plate sounds great for a lever action rifle. The reticle is all wrong and so is the price, but it’s a neat idea for that application.
I just wish it was first focal plane. Not sure why there is any new scope that is made in the year 2025 that is second focal plane.
Need a FFP Christmas tree reticle or it’s no bueno
For reference a standard 3-9 sfp duplex Leupold goes for $300
6:37 anybody else thinking maybe 2-6 ?
6:12 is homie shooting a Zion?
So, it's an MPVO? It looks like it's copying something from NC Star.
I'm holding out until someone makes a one pound 3-30 compact.
Maybe cool for the Ptr-g3 project you infected my brain with
They should have made it a 1-4 and changed the body.
watched this whole video and no Socko
Tragic, do better
Next on Forgotten Optics…
EOTech tried to out PLX-C the PLX-C but flew too close to the sun.
The better reticle variant will be compelling and I like the battle rifle idea. They get so heavy when you add optics, this seems like a compromise on that.
A use case given to me by an EOTECH sales rep that kind of makes sense is being used as a LE patrol rifle. You have 1x with the top dot for making entry, and w simple 3-9 for extended LE engagements, which are still overwhelmingly likely to be within 100 yards
Eotech’s scopes are dumbbbb heavy (exception this one). I had a 3-18 and it was damn near 2lbs. Their reticles in general suck, which is funny, because the HWS reticles are genius. I’ve looked at the 3-9 a few times, but glad I’ve never jumped on one.
Are you going to check out the Primary Arms 4-16 compact?
"Always with the negative waves, Moriarty"
This thing is interesting and makes me sad at the same time. Reticule is ridicule.
As a fan of the PTR91 modernization project still, I think this is a great idea for the G3/PTR platform. Even most LPVO’s suck for working the charging handle with reloads.
Still waiting on the updated reticle on these guys, but I plan on getting one for mine when those come out.
"You got a weird little scope" sounds like a slur.
This seems like a great optic for lever guns where you’re at most reaching out to 200yrds and just need some extra zoom without too much bulk.
DDsight MAG 1-4×22
Probably this is for you 😄
So I guess I missed the downsides to this scope.
I don’t know what good glass is, looks great to me. 🤷🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
if they went with a smaller range if magnification and a lower top end of mag, they could have focused on just getting good eye relief and field of view.
15:17 What’s that suppressor and how’s it working for you on the 716i?
snek stik
2:39 An scope, red dot and canted open sights. That’s what I call redundant.
I still have my early production MRO just to spite everyone
review the new sms laser!
IN THE END THAT IS FAT MIL-SPEC MOJO
