  1. A really small, lightweight 3-9x optic that you can mount really low on an RMR plate sounds great for a lever action rifle. The reticle is all wrong and so is the price, but it’s a neat idea for that application.

  2. A use case given to me by an EOTECH sales rep that kind of makes sense is being used as a LE patrol rifle. You have 1x with the top dot for making entry, and w simple 3-9 for extended LE engagements, which are still overwhelmingly likely to be within 100 yards

  3. Eotech’s scopes are dumbbbb heavy (exception this one). I had a 3-18 and it was damn near 2lbs. Their reticles in general suck, which is funny, because the HWS reticles are genius. I’ve looked at the 3-9 a few times, but glad I’ve never jumped on one.

  4. As a fan of the PTR91 modernization project still, I think this is a great idea for the G3/PTR platform. Even most LPVO’s suck for working the charging handle with reloads.

Still waiting on the updated reticle on these guys, but I plan on getting one for mine when those come out.
