✅Building a AR in this year? This list WILL HELP: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uLRfUG4kCBbGCyXP1ABh7Pr-Mx7z0kzUHXBy0bc9wko/edit?gid=0#gid=0
Take some electrical tape and cut two thin strips and put them on the lower receivers ridge behind the hammer to it fills the gap between the recievers
he said ear plugs in the rear hahaha
Put a dang tiny rubber gasket over takedown holes. You're welcome
Just wanted to say this took the play completely out of my diamondback ar15 upper and lower, thank you so much!
Have the same lower gonna try this! I have a whole case of earplugs just laying around 😅
Delta 14 takedown pins
Problem with the designed "adjustment" (little screw near the rear pin) is that the pin in itself is a pivot point… thus it contributes to the wobble rather that adjusting for the wobble. I resolved the upper to lower receiver wobble by inserting the appropriate sized feeler gauge between the upper and lower just in front of the "adjustment screw fix" (be sure to extend the gauge to apply adjustment to both sides of the upper/lower fit).
Thank you, I will try this on my HK SP5K PDW with the Lee Sporting lower that wobbles.
do the foam ear pieces not get too hot or melted when shooting? Especially when its summer?
all you did was get rid of the sound it makes when you wobble it. The actual movement between the upper and the lower is the same. I can see it at the seem lines
Anderson lower 🤮
From what I’ve learned about the design of this platform is that a small amount of wobble is a feature not a flaw.
They sell rubber plugs for it cheap. I got few and love them
Best thing to do is to keep the mil-spec take down pins.
I use the red accu wedge. Different companies have branded it. Its along the lines of the ear plugs solution you did but its a harder plastic that will compress over time for a customized fit. Very very tight fit initially but settles in nicely. Ive bought them at 55 cent a piece at times so no worries.
Hey I was wondering is Anderson ar15 platform good and reliable???
My brand new matching set does this. But when magazine is loaded it does not. So it stays loaded easy fix
I am not putting that foam ear plugs in my ar even though mine don’t wobble. U should’ve just brought the matching lower from psa
My ar it’s very very tiny
I used my kids play dough instead of plugs works fantastic
I slapped a BCM upper on a Palmetto lower and got the best fitment I've felt in an AR 😂
On my ar15 the wobble is small next to none is that a good thing??
