Easier mounting method : screw the locking nuts down all the way until flush with mount, push the mlok mount into the mlok slots on the hand guard, slightly loosen the screws until the locking nuts slide underneath the hand guard, then tighten the screws back down until the locking nuts are vertical under the hand guard.
Hand tight is a common term used by manufacturers and throughout 2A. It is used when the manufacturer does not give a torque specification or the user does not have a torque wrench. Tighten the screws down until they are snug and the screws stop moving, but without damaging the product or stripping out the screw threads.
How to buy
thank you sir! You really helped me installing a M640 DFT Pro Turbo Scout Light Pro. The M-Lok mount seems better for me vs the rail mount. I appreciate you!

After testing where I wanted the light, I ended up installing just the M-Lok mount first (no light). It was very quick and easy. Then, with the mount secure to the rail, I could add the light and finish installation.
Great video, as always. Just wanted to pass along the trick to make install even quicker & easier (IMO).
Simple and very helpful. Thanks
What brand of torque wrench is that?
Great job! Solid explanation
What’s the torque of the last screw when you were tighten down.
Im newer to this, but wouldn’t you want the light at least a couple inches behind the muzzle so the light lens doesnt get covered in gun powder residue?
