if it doesn't delaminate, I don't want it lol. but on the more serious note: how much more durable is it going to be with this aluminum build. appearance?yes its ugly but people also use Glock so its an nonissue price? EXPS3 is already 850 so not that much more. battery life?its a holographics problem, if you want more battery life, get an LED red dot. reducing the amount of settings? not really sure about this one TBH, honestly I like the side buttons of the current EXPS better.

i don't hate the new eotech, though i'd like to see it on a gun. peak eotech aesthetic was the 553

the auto adjustment and the shake awake are good features., how about they add them to the other exps and xps sights

There was another company that brought a holographic sight to market last year. This EOtech looks like that thing. Forget the brand.

That new Eotech is ugly as fook. Who da-fook in their design team thought this was a good idea. For $950 ill pass hard, this does not do anything a Holosun AEMS won't do.

AA batteries are everywhere and run the eotech 2.5x longer. I don't want 123a junk lol

1. Battery life didn’t increase because the technology doesn’t allow it

2. Shake away is a game changer for an Eotech because the thing keeping people from using it as a grab and go gun is that you have to manually turn it on and if you remove that requirement 1000 hour battery in life is more than sufficient.

3. MSRP is 950, EXPS3 current iteration with a plastic housing and a giant bezel 819, you said it’s double it’s clearly not twice as expensive it’s a 16% increase

I’m not saying I’m going to buy one or that it’s the new hotness but it clearly fixes several issues that has hurt Eotech in the past and your assessment is not very accurate just on the merits, again not saying everyone should run out and buy one

I really don't get why they make a point about the rotary dial being compatible with magnifiers. The EXPS series already used side buttons, this is literally a downgrade because there's only 11 brightness settings instead of 30. It's also now another thing hanging off the side of the optic.
Also yeah it's ugly as sin. Looks like a cheap knockoff of itself.

It's for the government who doesn't spend real money. It's just numbers on a screen.
