Yes you gotta get that shottie. Budget and reliable i recommend are the Mossberg maverick 88 or the benelli nova.
Even a good well built budget AR/AK can be used for heavy use.
I mean as long as we keep them clean and have spare parts around to change as needed, those budget firearms are going to be great even in SHTF.
Although some of those expensive firearms do look sweet.
I got me an M&P SPORT 15 AR PISTOL on layaway. I will change the charging handle/BCG/also upgrade to a Maximum Defense brace. But those upgrades will come as time goes on because it's more of a want for me and not a need.
