For only $50, the Braun / Harbor Freight light comes in undercutting any other WML on the market just like everything else made in China. BUT, how does it stack up to a normal 1,000 lumen TLR-1 HL?

Would you put one of these on your gun(s)?

  1. Absolutely perfect for pistols used as range toys.

A Taurus TX22 with FRT feels like a full size, high end HK VP9 but in 22lr. The grip, trigger guard and rail are very similar. Slapping a Harbor Freight light on that 22lr doesnt feel like wasted effort and should help with the little muzzle flip it may produce in FRT mode.

Quite impressed. Do they make a TLR7?

  2. Just went to HF and they nonlonger sell it. Said they had to take it off the shelf because it was too close of a copy of the tlr. I guess they are changing it some so they don't get sued. I hope they bring one back soon.

  3. Bought a cheap light, laser combo at my local gunshop about 10 years ago. It has some wierd name on it. Laser needs batteries, but still work and is removable.
The light isbsuper bright, and it has held up great. Dropped it in the gravel when i put it on a different pistolband didn't tighten it enough.
Ive just stuffed it under my seat andbhad it kncked around its whole life.
Changing the light battery after 10 yrs, i notivedbthe light is made by NEBO. I literally paid 20 bucks for it, and it has been great.

  4. Feedback for the future, learn how to lock the exposure on the video so you can disable the auto brightness adjustment that the camera does. The comparison will be a lot more apparent for viewers.

  5. Man that's awesome…I have a few Streamlights, and a couple Olights…I'm surprised I could ever justify the price of the Streamlight, much less a Surefire. I'll have to pick one of these up, didn't know these had came out.
