We put the PSA Guardsman through testing as a simple home-defense and general purpose setup. This rifle lands in the budget bracket yet brings useful features out of the box, including a flat single-stage “Guardsman” trigger with a strong reset, ambidextrous selector, a 15 inch handguard with full Picatinny up top, M-LOK at common mounting angles, anti-rotation tabs, and a pinned gas block.

While i have mid tier and higher status carbines ( Colt , Spikes, BCM, DD and LMT) I also have a FN barreled PSA midlength and a midlength " freedom" nitride barreled carbine.; if the SHTF , there will be Plenty of guys ( and women) keeping the peace and their homes and neighbors SAFE with " lowly PSA carbines"😂
