  1. Just added note, as an attorney when they put that rifle on the table in front of the jury. You have to explain why you acted in defense. It’s not going to be helpful if it looks like you’ve built yourself a weapon of war.

  2. I would pass on the suppressor just because I think it would give the police the wrong impression if I had to use it in a self-defense scenario at home. I don’t want to look like I am just waiting for a fight. That’s just my preference.

  3. IMO the absolute minimum for a home defense tool is a:
    – red dot
    – tac-light
    – sling
Anything else will improve performance, but it's more of a nice-to-have. Yes, you can get away with iron sights, but at 2 am, in low light, with your adrenaline spiking and your brain not running at 100%, a red dot is faster and easier to acquire a target.

  4. great content great suggestions. however I guess I am a little different. after a sighting system, (sling), and light, "before anything else" you need a way to carry "extra mags". then focus back on your platform

  5. Listen fellas been watching you guys for about 8 to 10 months now I get it you guys love the finer accessories, and I don’t know if I speak for all of us, but I speak for some of us why don’t you guys show some alternatives that are not cheap by any means but cheaper??

  7. Just recall Rittenhouse bought a $8 sling the day he had to defend himself 3x. It may start in the house and you think a sling isnt needed, but like Rittenhouse, he needed that sling way down the street from his first self defense shooting and you dont know where the fight goes. That sling saved his life by weapon retention maintained when he went down. Had he got cracked and his rifle flew away from him, he would not be alive. The RITTENHOUSE RULE: EVERY RIFLE NEEDS A SLING.

  8. Would you guys recommend the 9inch 300 blkout for self defense?, Or should I just stick with a 11.5 5.56 . I plan on throwing a suppressor on I believe it it measures 7 inches. I already have it just debating

  9. I disagree with suppressor I don't think it's a necessity, they are great to have I don't I just don't think that they're one of the first thing you should put on there

I think instead of suppressors in the top five I think good magazines should have been the top five

  10. If you not in military or law enforcement environment most things don’t matter. The most you’re doing is going to the range 😂😂people act like they in actual combat scenarios

  11. Everything you add to your AR adds weight. For home defense you can get away with Magpul flip up irons. Definitely a weapon mounted light. No need for a switch for it just use a tail cap. In restricted states a forward blast muzzle device will direct your blast towards the threat.
