My first AR 15 is IWI ZION 15 12.5 / 5.56 CAL. $900+ i love it worth for my money the best midrange AR 15 riffle in the market sinced january 2020 until today 2025 everytime i saw and hold my IWI ZION 15 / 12.5 full setup sig romeo 5 optic, olight tactical flash light, magpul 2 point sling, sba3 ar pistol brace, B5 bravo system pistol grip, magpul sights, radian raptor charging handle with talon ambi safety, flash hider so far that's it. Shoot liked a beast for my home depense.

Went with the IWI Z15 12.5 for my first AR. Everytime I step on the range I never regret it and also friends rave after shooting it. So many "I wish I got this as my first AR" being said. Honestly Will get another.

Mil Spec is Mil Spec. A friend of mine has a DB sixteen inch. It's a well-built rifle. The one downfall in my view was the pencil barrel.

I have the DB15 11.5” Obsidian and love it. I just had the chance to handle the “normal” line and the difference in the 2 as far as feel and is pretty big. I was highly disappointed in the lower level rifle.

Looking forward to that 300 black series. I'm buiding an AR for the first time and in that caliber.

Zion 15 12.5" pistol was my very first AR. Still one of my favorites especially after a few upgrades. Prob my go-to home defense / SHTF gun right now.

Any barrels under 10 inches are better suited to PCC's and maybe suppressed. 300 blackout, not an AR round. The velocity loss isn't worth it, in my opinion
