Well, nowadays, the US military’s equivalent to the MG 42 would be the M240B, but there would likely be a ton of collateral damage. I think two AR15’s would work here.
But realistically, I would have concrete pillars in front of the store so you couldn’t break through with a vehicle— and I’d have unbreakable transparent plastic on all the display cases.

12ga 5 shot shotgun with dbl on and slugs. Then pick up your AR or equivalent with a 20-30 round mag and save yourself. The unfortunate side is this is the store is in CA and the criminal has the advantage.

I'm no expert on California gun law, is a M82 Barett legal? It doesn't exceed 10 round magazines and if 3 out of 15 robbers suddenly explode, the other 12 might reconsider their decision.
