  1. I have a 10.5" xm177 dedicated 22. With an swr spectre silencer.
    Has 22lr cmmg adapter.
Has the Bore buddy trip sled.
    Carbine spring with H2 buffer.
I cannot get 22 to function at all in SS mode, stingers or any ammo… In semi auto it will easily shoot any ammo. And can easily handle fast shooting. When I click SS mode it's one shot, then loads the next round with a dead trigger. What am I doing wrong.

  2. Does anyone know if the trip is supposed to actually “attach” to the bolt? Or is it just supposed to “rest” on the bottom of it? I can’t tell if there is a screw or something that I should be using to attach the bore buddy SS trip or if it is supposed to just hang loose? Anyone that can clarify I would appreciate it

  3. I've ran over 1,000 flawless rounds through my CMMG kit but I use 40gr CCI Mini Mag or 40gr CCI 22lr AR ammo with it and I clean and lube it after every range trip. It's been so reliable and fun (especially) with a binary, I was tired of reloading at the range so I have 8 mags I can load before getting there and cutting into my range time with reloading. I've thought about just leaving the CMMG kit in an AR pistol as a dedicated 22.

  4. The CMMG .22 LR bolt and magazines have worked fine in my rifles. Might be good or bad from one to the other. As opposed to my Bear Creek upper that has an out of tolerance take down pin hole in it that requires pounding the pin through with a small gunsmith hammer. Never been fired!

  5. God damn this looks fun. I wanted a cheap AR22 build so I grabbed a complete Stag lower and slapped a BCA 10.5" upper on it with the CMMG kit.. I've got about 3k rounds through it with only a few hiccups. It's ran flawlessly for me. I wonder if yours is mag issues?

  6. I have my CMMG bolt Carrier set up with the barrel adapter. And the push and barrel, not the 223 bullet adapter

Do you think it will work with that set up?

I already have installed the weight and the insert in the charging handle.

  7. No it’s in a cmmg.22 upper 4.5 or 5 inch barrel can’t remember I use cci varmint shooting 1440 fps they say to use heavy and fast ammo the best was Winchester super x hyper velocity they don’t make it anymore varmint what replaced it same specs just don’t shoot the same cci stinger and the AR tactical .22 shoots ok

  8. Curious, why you covered? You ugly or hiding? You posted a video, and I guess you don’t think the gov can find you. Believe me they can and will if they thought you had a mg.

    Makes no sense to me.

  9. You don't need to put aftermarket parts in your cmmg bold conversion their LIFETIME warranty policy is really good on that they'll send you new parts of whatever you need in the mail for free Mine have knocked back like a hundred thousand rounds and they still honored my warranty after using a binary trigger. In terms of reliability I've never had an issue with mine other then when I ran 1000 rounds in under 30mins and over heated the chamber. I can put all the cheap ammo in it I want and it still runs 100 per cent. Now I've had warranty out mine twice but then I have two of them and like I said it wasn't until they were very high around count till I had an issue and I was deliberately pushing them to their limit

  10. Every time I hear about these 22LR AR Platforms I always hear extensive issues. I know this is a super safety video, but I'm surprised with all the 3D printed Ruger 10/22 receivers that nobody has made a super safety conversion for an established 22LR platform such as the 10/22. I'm sure it's due to the how cramped the actual bolt and receiver is for the 10/22 but an interesting thought nonetheless.

  11. I've got a BoreBuddy upper. It is absolutely 0% functional and it's already been back to BoreBuddy and they already charged me $100 for their factory defect. Might as well just toss your money in the trash if you buy BoreBuddy.

  12. just got my package from Bore Buddy adjustable weight kit SS trip buffer plug put one small a large aluminum weight to star out glad I found this video so I know the trip just sits in there under the BCG will do some testing Sunday

  13. Here’s what I did to fix bcg frame movement. Made a tab that fits over the end of the cmmg bcg that fills the gap and makes contact with the upper part of the lower. Drill a hole in the tab so that it will hold in place by the spring rod. No more back and forth slop, and no need for a buffer tube plug for the added pressure on bcg. Tab does it all.

  14. This was really helpful. I was having issues trying to get my conversion kit to work and only get 3-4 round bursts until I was having failures to eject and double feed issues. Gonna look into getting the Bore Buddy bundle which sounds like it should help resolve the issue.
