I always enjoy your videos, especially the light reviews. All your videos are very informative. I don't think you have done one on the Streamlight TLR-7 HL-X yet. I am looking forward to that one in particular.
I'll go to harbor freight and just grab 3 of em 😂
Today's algorithm offering
I just got a HP in yesterday. Extremely hard to beat for the money.
Paralysis by analysis………T2, CompM5s, CompM4s, or MRO HD?????
Mike, thanks for addressing the blinding / over-illumination issue when using indoors. That’s been my biggest concern with these high-candela models.
Being able to use my existing holsters is huge. Having to replace those is why I don’t change weapon lights very often.
This dude is like Hickok 45 v1.2
Ive got a handlful TLR1 HL and might consider swapping to the HP
Is the holographic sight even bright enough to see? Although kinda hard to pass up giving the price
Holy crap that was close. I'm literally trying to pick a light for my new pistol. This one was my #1 pick but looking at 3 others. I kinda want one smaller like the size of the Olight Baldr. Sure, it wont be as bright. I just moved out here to north Florida on some acreage and thinking the higher lumens for more coverage is vastly more important now. I also think I'll try one of them Stinger optics for a new 300BLK I got.
Thanks Mike.
If the knockoff eotech actually works AND is actually holographic and not just a red dot then that's HUGE.
The price on these during labor day was insane! I had some fraud happen on my bank account so i couldnt hop on the deal, maybe for black friday
Streamlight
Cloud Defensive is punching the air right now 😂 their 4 year old product release is already getting dog walked.
Surefire was "dethroned" awhile ago –
Does this fit the TLR-1HL holster pattern or is the emitter larger?
Does stream light have a protac rail mount rifle light that performs this well?
Surefire was dethroned at least 5 years ago and continue to fall behind. Streamlight makes way more products at a far better price.
I know some will frown upon it but i already use the sl-b9 rechargeable batteries in the early gen tlr7 series lights and I'll bet you can use them in this too
Is that advertised optic good to go tho?
I love the TLR-1 HL’s and use them on a lot of my carry guns. Been running the Harbor Freight knockoff for my competition gun and have been impressed with it for the price. Also run a goonbeam clone on my rifle for higher candela but been thinking about getting the HP model to compare it.
Any difference in the temperature of the light color? I noticed that my surefire have a slightly warmer color and the stream lights are cooler. What I’ve read is that the cooler lights perform poor in smoke when compared to the warmer colored LEDs.
