Marine PRS team shooter, and long-range precision rifle instructor demonstrates what you need when buying a long-range shooting riflescope.
Not all scopes are built the same, and many don’t have the features required for long-range shooting. Modern precision rifle scopes aren’t expensive and still come packed with great features. Some of these include: large objective lenses, open tactical turrets, large zoom ranges, parallax adjustment, first-focal plane and a modern Christmas tree-style reticle.

How many mils is enough for 308 long range !!! I have 13 mils on my vector optic and that can’t be dialling for 1200 yeard coz bullet need 20+ mils and i only have 13 on optic
What magnification should you have for 700 yards and for 1000 yards?
Sorry, the objective lens does NOT 'gather' light. Pls explain how. It does however, transmit light and determine the exit pupil size depending on magnification. Get your facts straight.
Thankyou sir
