Too Much Optic

I'd REALLY like to see you shoot a man size target at 600 yards, with irons. Post a vid of it.

Cool beans bro 9x scope on an ar15 so what if it’s wrong I got a 12 on my ar just because it looks cool. And I can use that same scope on my other shit too so like what’s your point chief????

I use a 4-16x magnified optic for my ar15 spr build. I like to shoot 77 grain smk match ammo so seeing where my bullets land is important for load data as well as my wallet. $38 for a box of 20 rounds you will appreciate a nice magnified optic.

I’d want a 4x max on a standard AR platform but that’s me and my preference

If you’re spending the same amount on an optic that you spent on the gun you’re just as goofy at the scope guy

to those who use those types of optics on an ar keep doing what ur doing the last thing ppl need is ppl shooting at something they can't see clearly I have one an ar that I use for hunting prairie dogs would love to see someone accurately hunting them without a magnified optic yea inside 200 yards it's not crazy hard but I like to clearly see my target

A good 3-9x with a piggyback dot is far superior to an LPVO… 3-9x scopes, even at the top end, are also cheaper than any 2.5-10x worth using.

Something else to think of when someone puts a 3×9 or more powerful scope as you get older and the eyes are getting tired sometimes you need more than a red dot or 3x to even see the target.

Explain why the USMC, and SOCOM used the Mk 12 mod O,1 and H with a 2.5-10x because even the 4x acog was struggling past 400 yards. A 3-9x is perfectly functional, and with a budget micro dot is a one size fits most for a setup. Quit bashing what others like and works for them.

I’m okay with it but I’d school people in the importance of having a red dot or irons on the 45 for backups and close in work.

Or you have people like me who can use a red dot because they all starburst so a scope is better!!! Especially if you're going to hunt with it!!! Not only that, but if you are hunting, and have species and antler restriction and want to shoot very far at all, then a scope is the way to go.

So what about my other AR's chambered in 350 legend , 308 , 450 bushmaster, 6.5 Creedmoor. I guess I don't need a scope to shoot a deer at 200 yards. Just use iron sights so you take more of a chance of making a bad hit and not finding the animal. Yeah that makes sense.
