what is the point of that scope mount, wouldnt you just put the laser on the side rail so you dont have to aim 12 inches above the target to hit it?

I’m a Poor man, Apartment living. Don’t have a Gun Cabinet/safe but I have a Dual Gun Bag and I live my Pistol’s in my Backpack and Go to Bag if I Have to Bolt in a heartbeat. But my story is any available Gun I’ll grab out of by DG-Bag and whatever I’ll get it will get the job done. I’ll prefer my AR than a sidearm in reaching distance.
