EOTechs don't need a Killflash???

I could still see the reflection after the kill flash was put on 0:42 you can clearly see it.

If you're not doing recon you don't need this, eotechs are to be used for CQB, yes you can hit out to 600yds with them but most guys are not engaging at that distance anyway

I tried to get a kill flash for my LPVO, it turns out that the diameter was molded exactly and I had it wrapped in ranger wrap so it ended up a no go.

Russians have a EW suite that can detect apertures even ones as small as your phone camera from hundreds of meters away. If you consider yourself serious about being prepared but don’t have a kill flash, you’re wrong. The utility outweighs the cost greatly

In my head there is no point for a close range optic to have a killflash because you are not a sniper. I take killflashes off because my eye for some reason tries to focus on the killflash instead of the red dot. If you are using a close range optice to snipe at some one you should have the sun behind as a general rule.

Kill flash is better, but panty hose is a good gerryrig.

I think its just people not understanding the reason for the kill flash and the people that need it. The same people with it also proba ly have a solid black rifle and think nobody will see it in a bush. It's all about trying to remove any chance of sticking out.

It's true they don't need a reflective lens like LEDs. Glass itself is reflective though. They just don't have to utilize a red or green extra reflective lens to reflect the green or red led so your eyeballs can see it. The emmiter on holographics are also less likely to be seen from the front.
