  1. My son has 2 Leupold's. I have a OLD Nikon on my 1970's era Ruger .308, but absolutely love the new Burris Droptine 3-9 I just put on my also 1970's era Ruger in .243. Thanks for the vid, your opinion I value greatly.

  2. Great video. I didn't want to scope my 30-30 Rossi R95 lever gun but my eyes need me to. These scopes are some good options. I'm also looking hard at the Burris Fullfield 2 in 2-8×35 and it has a small illuminated cross and I was quoted $190 for it.

  3. So many choices now. I see a lot of guys using hawk but know nothing about them. I’m not sure UsA pricing but I’m also curious why none of the zerotech are in here? You did say the thrive 2.5-15 is a great hunting scope. It’s only like $200 usd in Aus.

  4. Can you do a review of some of Osprey’s long eye relief scopes? I’ve seen on paper and on their website that a lot of their scopes have a 4.7 to 7.8 inch eye relief!! I think a lot of new and amateur shooters would really find that attractive!

  5. Hi Joe, this is a question about which scopes are best for someone with vision loss.
I recently looked at several scopes and narrowed it down to three, but i woke up blind in my left eye one morning and won't get my sight back in that eye.
I am a right handed shooter and still have use of my dominant right eye.
My question is, should I put a halt on getting a new scope, or should I go ahead with buying one?
I guess the real question is, will a great quality scope in the 3-20 x 42 mm to 50 mm help improve how I see targets & game through my one good eye?
    Thanks bc_archer

  6. I ended up getting the buckmasters 30mm 4-16×44.
I took the Leupold freedom 3-9×50 scope and out them side by side same power 4 x and 9x
My buddy looked through both and said the clearer scope was the sig.
Thanks for the help, saved some money and got a nice scope.

  7. What would you recommend for shotgun? I'm looking for LPVO 1-4 or 1-6 for my Benelli M2. Don't care about brand, I just want to make sure it can take 12GA recoil.
We shoot competitions (slug) from 25-100m, due to the stupid low in my country 3gun and practical shooting is banned. So multi-target and such is all we have left 😡
Anything you would recommend? Vortex (not a big fan of vortex), Vector Optics, Leupold etc. I've heard good things about Firefield Rapid Strike 1-6×24, would you have any experience with that brand?

  8. I have a question the vector optics orion 4-16-44 max ffp what’s your opinion on it it’s $229 I’m liking what I’m seeing on it how about you and thanks for answering me back talk soon del

  9. Big fan of your channel! Question, which scope would you put on this. Ruger 10/22. With a Kidd barrel, BX trigger, and Boyd stock.. Hunting and bench rest shooting, normally a 100 yards or less. I'm not a marksman, but do like accuracy. Looking for exposed reticle adjustment for trying different ammo and reticle with drop points. Would be nice if it was light weight as well, but would like something in the $500 or less, but I know I'm asking for a lot in that range. Watched so many videos and read reviews until my head is spinning. What do oil thing? And I'll by it from Optic Force 🙂

  10. Hey Joe,
Surprised the Leica Amplus 6 didn’t make it. Also, have you had a chance to look at the newer Tract Toric hunter 2.5-15X44? I really trust your opinions and am looking at possibly picking one up for my new 300 WM Elk Rifle. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

  11. I recently got a Vortex Diamondback HP 4-16 x 42. It has adjustable parallax, capped turrets, and (most surprisingly) HD glass. It lists for $480 but I paid $195. I think it might belong on your list!

  12. Joe what do you (or anyone else) know about the Nikko Stirling Diamond 3-12 x 62. They are $250-$300, illuminated, and obviously have a large objective that could be helpful in lowlight conditions. I held one at my local gun shop the other day. Didn't seem like a bad scope. I read the diamond series is manufactured in Japan. Wondering if you or anyone else knows anything about them.
