Just got mine, the screws are so tight it's like they're glued on and won't move. When i use to allen tool, it's just weird so I'll wait to figure it out.

Can I put this on my 7.5 inch ar pistol or is that illegal ??

Question for the fellas.. now what if I take a real vertical grip by definition and chop it short enough to be utilized as a “hand stop” now is that legally ok given the full “grip” is no longer in sight? Let’s say from top to bottom the whole piece is maybe a solid inch and a half. Can I turn this vertical grip into a hand stop for my “pistol” ?

Unfortunately one of the screws is hitting the gas block where I have it positioned. Guess it’s time to pull out the dremel again haha

BCM makes good stuff I have several of these lil stubby Vertical Grips on a few of my guns. My favorite is my Trashy modern Hungarian AKM build it's just cool in my eyes anyways.

If someone buys one of these and needs a YouTube video to be able to mount it, they probably shouldn’t be around firearms.

I didn’t like this grip when I had it on my BCM – felt too hollow and fragile, like it would break if I bumped it roughly. I now run the Mod 1 (storage compartment version), which is much better-built.

If you turn them down to where they are resting on the hold off tabs (they hold the nuts off the thickness of the hand guard as designed) prior to installation they will catch on the first 1/4 turn and lock into place.

How to remove this vertical grip

That’s definitely not how I do it, but OK. Tighten>Insert>Loosen>Tighten… much easier my friend.

Now it can shoot a higher caliber bullet

Take off the hand guard

It is infinitely easier to install any mlok item if you pre tighten the grabbers all the way down. They you just loosen till they back off (like 90 to 180 degrees) then tighten them. Trust me.

Why is that "vertical grip" angled?
