Instead of a sentry strap, I have a ranger band on my stock that I pull my sling tight and tuck the excess into. I has a second purpose of tightening up that stock adjustment making it harder to remove the stock, while still being easy enough to adjust

Me personally, I pull it tight and tuck it into the stock. Get the same result for free 😅

Just use rubber bands and break them and replace
