Okay, I'll admit the auto reticle changeover is neat, as long as you want that and are cool with using that magnifier on that mount.
The $850 combo price is appeasing for a dot/magnifier combo.
Eotech killer?……naw.
People seem to forget that the sole purpose of an exps3, let's say, is to have the utmost in visual reticle usage…. through night vision, to have the most performance in light transmission…..through night vision, to have the utmost glass clarity…….through nightvision, to have the near truest "zero parallax" as possible, and to have the widest range of brightness settings from nv-day-time than any other nv capable optic.
Otherwise, like people always say, they're sorta heavy, expensive, and have far less battery longevity than most red dots, but the only other true comepitor to the eotech is the voretx uh1 as a true holographic site.
Therefore…….anything else is not an eotech killer. They're just red dots competing with other red dots, and the eotech remains hands down the king for it's class for what it was designed for.
Too bad it's made by SIG…

I love my Eotech, but he comparing orange to apples. I just wish eotech have a better battery life and shake away features. But if it available I’ll try it out. Seem really cool

It's a Red Dot, not a Holographic. EOTech doesn't even make red dots and has nothing to worry about.
Wonder if you can run these on a unity riser and ftc mounts and still communicate with each other
