It is funny how so many people b1tch and moan about the price of an innovative AR, yet drop nearly 2K on the latest iPhone every year or two. On a phone that is replacing a basically new phone because they need the latest and greatest status symbol, which they pop out of their pocket every hour so friends can go "Ooh, ahhh". We can't pop out our Gucci AR or pistol at work to show off to our homies without going to prison.

Took delivery on my first DTL this past February. The gun is something else. Fit and finish are unmatched; it gets more compliments than my honey badger and radian combined. The guns speak for themselves, just hold one and you'll know. I want to point out this company has some of the best customer service I've ever seen. Im not exaggerating, they are absolutely exceptional. During my wait i was in contact with Brooke Afshari, who several times reached out immediately to answer questions. Everyone i talked too was responsive, friendly, and extremely helpful. I just ordered another zero trigger this week Monday at 10pm. Tuesday morning at 6:30am it shipped… that is unheard of. I already have it 2 days later. I needed help with a sheared off screw head i over torqued while installing it. I called today, left my call back number, and Andy called me back after hours and he is putting another pin set and screws in the mail asap. I would support this company just for the rifles, but the customer service is something special. Believe me, no one, and i mean no one in the industry even comes close to this level of support and responsiveness.
Do people still listen to tactical tool bag?

I always see them as being too fancy for an everyday rifle. I know that is a dumb statement.
$2600 is a pretty big "con for a 5.56.
I did groups with my DTL v2 with 77gr IMI and Black Hills and they grouped identical at 100 yards.. so I stocked up a bit on IMI.
I got my DTL 13.9” a few months ago. And NOW the V3 is out? 🙁 I wish they would have given me the option to “upgrade” it. I’m sure the V3 hit just recently. I love my V2.. Kahles K18 gen 2 LPVO, Hux 762 TI, and all the other good stuffs. 🙂

The word "proprietary" typically scares gun owners off, especially gun buyers looking for a gun they can use in SHTF situation. If one proprietary part goes down, you might just have a paperweight. Or if the manufacturer of the gun goes away, guess what! The wonderful warranty is gone too and you can't get the cool, cutting-edge gun serviced. As me how I know this! Have you never heard of Adcor Defense? They were one of the best, cutting edge and proprietary. Yeah, im stuck with a $3k+ paperweight now.
That gas block improvement is exceptional
I absolutely HATE high priced rifles. Mostly because while most of them are very good quality builds they almost always have the "name tax" and I'm not going to pay anyone to do their advertising for them.
With that said this is the first AR style rifle that, even though it is still too expensive for me, I'm not only excited about it but I would be willing to save up for because there is actual innovation. You can see where not only did they incorporate new technology to the platform but they also did it with forethought (anathema for most engineers). Good job to the guys at Blackout Defense and for your video showcasing their hard work and explaining the benefits.

That's an amazing rifle , not even at full velocity of a longer barrel . That is some space age engineering , the most exciting rifle I've seen you show. It looks VERY HIGH QUALITY ❤ THX 😊

Now I 100% believe in Black Hills ammo. It’s the best you can get and is used by the Spec Ops community as far as I know. That use witchcraft when they make ammo!
