STR will always be my favorite, love the ctr though

Used the moe for a while now running a b5 Bravo.
doesn't really matter here in Jersey, it has to be pinned in one position, not adjustable.
A little masking tape on the rail fixed the rattle for me.
CTR or PRS on all of mine. You are dead on. It's a rock solid stock with qd attachment and didn't break the bank. Unlike the PRS lol
Is the QD point in the ctr steel lined?
My personal preference is SB tactical stocks and braces.
I do have a lot of other Magpul stuff but as far as stocks and braces I go with SB tactical
MFT minimalist stock is the best combination of ergonomics and features and quality out there. Not to mention price. I’ve used a wide array of different stocks and braces and so far this is my favorite.

The reason is in its name,compact type restricted. Nice and flat and small. Lightweight and dont have a bunch of wiz bang compartments to put batteries and all ur other shit that dont belong on a rifle thats y u have a platecarrier chest rig and a rucksack so ur rifle doesnt weigh as much as a machine gun😂
I quite enjoy the B5 sopmod, but the ctr is a good option if you don't need the storage the sopmod has

I can't stand the Magpul stocks. I'm not sure what people see in them.
I think the hogue is one of the best.

CTR in FDE has serious drip.
A small piece of tape on the buffer tube will stop the rattle too. .03 cents not $65.
A1 stock or bust
The STR is a better SOPMOD style stock from Magpul.
I think the honest answer is just that it's affordable and it just works. When building a gun, people just want simple affordable parts that work. Magpul has always made parts that fit that category.
Mp wants to be a B5 so bad
No rattle, friction lock, more comfy, slibg points, etc
I use FAB defense
Magpul is my go to, I have owned and loved a lot of their stuff. I am just now completing a new build and ordered fab defense this time and I am hoping I like it too.
