I take you guys along as I conduct some testing of the MAG Tactical Systems AIR 15 RECON rifle and my BCM AR15 with the new 13″ KMR rail system and a Gunfighter Mod 0 muzzle brake. The 4-16×44 Vortex sight is the Viper HS-T.

  1. It's probably a 1/9 twist which doesn't like anything over 69 grain projectile it's not a fast enough twist to properly stabilize the heavy projectiles. Yes I have a tiny penis.

  2. dude this range looks cool as hell, you're in a little bunker type of set up. my range is just open outdoors with stone tables and cut up logs as seats, LOL, but theyll let us shoot tannerite and sodas and all kinds of stuff, so thats a plus.

  3. Mac I am eyeing up that FDE mag tactical in your store but need some clarification. Is it 1×7 twist. I have a bad neck is the recoil noticeably worse and last but not least can you move on the price at all. I buy a lot of guns if you treat me right we can work toegether.

  4. ….  anyway I have a theory I wanna throw past you gun loving freedom loving folk….   the attacks on the world trade center…   after the planes hit the towers…  I am leaning heavily towards the possibility that footage of the pentagon being hit…  was a tomahawk cruise missile…  here is my take on it…  that cruise missile was fired under the orders of the president in retaliation for the attack on the towers 30 minutes earlier….   which means…  9/11/01 was in fact a coup d'état….   I am not gonna go into what happened to the passengers on flight 77 if the plane did not hit the pentagon…  I don't want to try and pick apart the official cover stories….  I am saying is it possible it was a coup d'état… once that is agreed …. then anything else is possible…. after that you could just use your imagination what happened to the passengers of 77…

  5. …  let me explain to you people out in the west and down south the fucked mentality of these pricks in the north east….  those who oppose the second amendment and legislate radical control methods feel its there 1st amendment right to do such..  but because there views are not consistent with the constitution they see to it that those who oppose the second amendment like themselves be permitted to carry a fire arm in order to protect there point of view….  these assholes like Chuck Schumer and Andrew Cuomo are fucked In their heads..  and that's New York City in a nutshell…. the anti second amendment folks carry most the fire power….  I just cant figure out how they get away with it….  just pisses me off….

  6. are you people pro second amendment ?….   I know it appears such…   but you never could tell now a days…   the people with the guns in New York City (my hometown) are actually anti second amendment … go figure ..

  7. it may not be the safest thing to do but i shoot without safety glasses, just haven't really seen any or payed attention to buy any, when i first started shooting (.410s and 22s) i didn't have hearing or eye protection, it's always good to be safe though.

  8. One of the possible reasons for the bad groupings with the heavy ammo is the rifling. If you're sporting 1:9 twist rates, it doesn't stabilize most bullets well much over 65 grains (more mass, less angular rotational inertia, thus less stability).

If you change the barrel to 1:7 twist, you'll likely cover the full range of bullet weights with a smaller MOA due to faster bullet revolutions. It's just physics. I wouldn't blame the bullet manufacturers, or the internal mechanism of the rifle itself.

  9. Hey MAC, just wondering what make is the lower receiver on that BCM rifle? I'm looking into doing an AR build and am still in the shopping around stage. Thanks!

  10. Very nice Ar's buddy. I recently put one together myself. I took it out to the range and it's accurate and shoots fine when it wants to. It will shoot with rds or 10 rds and out of nowhere it will stop shooting. The round gets loaded but when I pull the trigger, it's a no go. The trigger feels as if I have it on safe. I have to eject the round, reload it and it will shoot 1 rd at a time. Any ideas what it may be? I went with a criminal PSA upper, auto bolt, Tapco buffer spring, and a Frontier line complete polymer lower. I'm going to dissemble the lower and check out the trigger assembly. Again thanks for any advice
