Watched the video all the way through and didn't see a single Direct Impingement gun. There was a long stroke piston, two short stroke pistons and, a stoner internal piston system.
If you want to show off a direct impingement system go get a MAS 40 or one of its descendants through to the MAS 49/56.
Achually fellers….DI ( internal piston) pressurizes the space inside the bolt carrier. The gas mearly "unlocks" the action; it does not push the carrier rearward, the case pushes everything to the rear.
Clearly, the piston rifle is far superior than the DI system. The AK-47 is a rifle that is used by many countries around the world because it works in just about any environment. Even the US military has ordered the 416 from Germany because it is built on the platform of the m4 but it is a piston system. SCAR 17 $$$ Coming next…
PWS for the win. If you go and look…these are considered some of the most reliable systems made today and have been now for over 15 years+. Especially if you are running cans.

VKTR V1, thang has a self regulating gas system, and won golden trigger in 2023.
Exactly the video I was looking for 🙏 perfect timing
Piston rifles are MUCH better and cleaner! That's why the AK is so famous, the reliability.
Cool information!
Based on the same as a 249 saw, or m85

Uhg! Can't stand Kaya. Lunk head.
I have the pws and it's amazing and extremely accurate and lighter than the hk, I have di ars also but the pws is the one I always grab first
I've got an MK116 MOD 2, and I don't want a DI at all after using the PWS. Great Video, fellas. 👌🏾🤝🏾🇺🇲💪🏾🫡
di is best the hk416 made people think piston was cool yes di has so many more advantages on every area
Cool stuff to learn. Hopefully, Basic training is as good these days.
Love my PWS.
I have an M6a2 that runs very nice. Super clean.
A major diwnside to short stroke is carrier tilt.
They are all gas guns, Jason😂
After 1k rounds i can still see the red oil from my gunbutter stick on my mr556. So its insanely more clean than a di not just a little

Am I the only one that would buy the rifle in the thumbnail?

My wife prefers long stroke
even HK now makes a DI.
DI it craps where it eats
The "Silent Capture" spring and "Roller Trigger" by JP Rifles is probably the amazing part of my $4k competition AR15.
