  1. Biggest drawback to the MCX is, even if I were will to spend the money, I am dot buying anything from Bud Light, not even a Romeo. I say that, but an actual Bud Light has never opened anyone's leg up while just sitting in a holster.

  2. One thing you forgot to mention about the Spear. It is full of ULTERIOR MOTIVES and MISREPRESENTATIONS. RHETORIC and dont forget that ANTI-GUN PROPAGANDA they package in all their firearms like the P320

  3. The military should have gone the bull pup route. A maneuverable 20-inch barrel can be a game changer, especially since the US wants to get around body armor. Gives you more options. I'd love to pick up a SIG Spear, though. Regardless, the US has zero shot at winning a conflict due to widespread corruption. Good luck getting anything that is actually useful. I hope the Spear does well. War requires industrial capacity and innovation, and the US has neither.

  4. I think I'd look elsewhere, but I would anyway so theirs that. HK would be an alternative. I like the SCAR 16 that I have, but it's not a fair comparison because mines is SBR'd They are a tad over weight, but it actually helps with recoil.

  5. The only benefit of the MCX system is for operators that are trying to conceal as much firepower as possible in a small package. For civilians, there is no real benefit. The MCX recoils more, is front heavy, has far too many proprietary parts, and it's made by Sig.

  6. Own the SPEAR purchased before the It Ends Today boondoggle. Setting aside its drawbacks over the M4, it is a fine piece of engineering and my rifle has has great fit and finish. Not as loose and rattly, I shoot it better than either the M16 or M4 that I have lot more experience with and training on. If the LT is anything like its older sister. I would expect it to also be a fine firearm. It is tragic how SIG corporate's mishandling of complaints has built such hostility towards the brand. I find that they do still make some great stuff that sadly a lot of folks will no longer consider. Speaking for my self, for an reliable piston system rifle in 5.56. I will grit my teeth and spend the money on a HK MR556 A4. I now do all I can to avoid buying a SIG.
