  1. No 1x, so its not an LPVO. 9x max so it's not a very good MPVO. Glass quality isn't excellent, when it should be absolute top tier at the price.

Normally the selling point of 3×9's is that they are cheap and easy to produce. I don't get it.

  2. I have yet to hear anyone convincingly explain why a shorter scope is better. Especially if you give up the 1x magnification. It seems like most reviewers are fawning over how compact it is, but without explaining how it being short makes any difference to anything.

  3. I'll be honest, a 4 MOA reticle on a 3-9x is not it for me as a fighting optic. That dot becomes 12" at 300yds and if your best group is ~2 MOA, that's ~6" variance within that 12" dot. If my base magnification isn't 1x im probably utilizing it for medium engagements out to 500yds… this ain't it.

  4. I love T-Rex Arms but for heavens sake less range b.s. and more actually showing and reviewing the optic. I dont care how many alpha or charlie you get or what your time is. You are always going to be slower with something you havnt trained with anyways so whats the point?

  5. I think this is a good "combat" optic. I mean think about it, 1x on an LPVO is worse than a red dot, and 2x isnt that useful anyways. If its going to have a piggyback red dot regardless, might as well use all of that to increase magnification for PID. Id honestly like to see MIL, clearer glass, and a FFP regardless of the optics class, maybe at a 1200 price tag. I personally would trade a lot of 1-8s for this.

  6. Got a 3-9 Bushnell that came with my savage axis for $450. I don't see what makes this scope worth more than double an optic/gun bundle, much less over 10 times a regular 3-9 by itself. And it's STILL second focal plane; probably a rebrand

  7. magnification with a piggy back red dot is not the best at anything but it can do pretty much anything. its the ultimate compromise setup. i think a lot of people lose sight of that especially when theyre dropping a lot of money on that type of setup. great shooting and good review. i was hoping for a better eye relief on the vudu 3-9. i dont quite see a reason why this would replace a ta02 rmr setup but it seems to be very usable. i would like to try it out.

  8. Thx Brandon. Was looking at this optic literally 30 min ago at the store before I got home and watched the vid. It's light so that's good. I think the search continues…

  9. So are we just calling anything a LPVO now?. I think universally the defining attribute of a LPVO is 1x base magnification. Just because you use it in the same capacity of a LPVO doesn't make it a LPVO.

  10. reduced size combatant = child soldier.

watching you shoot is entertaining and helpful but the actual talking about the product was important. I was just looking at one of these the other day, it seems like a good idea that just isn't quite there yet.
