Nice to see that Intel is still capable of releasing something that works more or less out of the box rather than having to wait half a year for them and MSI to whip it into shape. Even then it takes some tinkering on the part of customers to get the 1st gen MSI CLAW to a satisfying level. I had to deactivate some of the CPU Cores which starved the actually quite capable IGPU from power. Then i installed Cachy OS and that got me a moderate boost in most scenarios and a huge improvement in some. There are of course still some compatibility issues with Linux (no Game Pass for me when travelling, sigh) but everyting that works, works well.
