  1. What my grandfather did is set up his gun in a lead sled and point it at whatever range he wanted to zero on. Then he'd pack the sled down with sandbags, pull the trigger, and line the sight up with the bullet hole. Never shot a more accurate rifle in my life.

  2. I probably should’ve looked for your discount code before ordering 🙄. seen your video I was like I’ve been meaning to buy one of these. I better do it now or I’ll forget or push it off till later. Still for 50 bucks I hopefully won’t be disappointed as long as it comes with the adapters.

  3. This is bore sighting, not true zeroing. It makes sure you’re punching paper only when you do start zeroing. You still have to finalize zero with live ammo. Everyone take a breath. It’s a tool to help save time on the range. Nobody is forcing you to buy it. If you want to waste time chasing paper, more power to you. Bunch of armchair rifle theorists over complicating this.

  4. Pull the upper receiver off the lower, set it on a bench and look down the barrel. Find a object in the center of the bore down range and then carefully adjust your sight on the target. You will hit the paper at the very least and still be able to dial in with 10-14 shots.

  5. DON’T FORGET. The bore sight isn’t always perfect so it might need to be zeroed itself. If the laser moves when you rotate the bore sight 180 degrees then you need to adjust it so its stays in the same spot when rotated. Also a vice, clamp or stand will work best for this.

  6. Don’t take this advice. Lasers travel in a straight line. Bullets do not. You’re still gonna have to confirm zero and shoot actual rounds to make sure that point of aim matches point of impact at a certain distance. You’re not saving any money. You’re spending $50 on a laser to save maybe four dollars worth of ammo when zeroing.
