  1. It's peculiar to me how on some channels their EOTech is mounted like this while on others it's flipped around with the battery case facing the shooter. Is there any difference when mounting them one side or tthe other (or are some people just idiots who don't have a clue on how to mount their sights?)

  2. My EXPS3 came damn dear perfectly zeroed. I only had to click windage a few times. Then I put it on a Unity riser and had to adjust elevation a smidge but it’s been super easy to deal with.

  3. I’ll tell you what my eotech had problems lol and I’ve heard a lot of other people mention this before too, once it’s zeroed it’s good to go but it took awhile, the up and down was fine but left to right was not fine it was just ridiculous, it would go way too far each click and couldn’t ever get it exactly perfect. But it holds zero good

  4. Great job man but you can do some simple math to save a lot of ammo in the long run. Generally 3 click or 4 click an inch at 100 is standered for most optics. 25 being 1/4th of 100 means you multiply the clicks by 4. So at 25 you will need to go 12 or 16 clicks to move the struck of the round 1 inch. Great shooting bro and great choice in rifle / optic

  5. Each round that you shoot has a certain trajectory where the projectile will rise and then fall. Assuming that is an AR-15 chambered in 5.56 62 grain, the PoI, point of impact, at 25m is the same as 300m. That is why the M4 is zeroed at 25m on a 300m target. Meaning, the actual target is 25m away but looks 300m away.

You started at 10m then 25m then to 50m, and i assume you made your adjusments at 50m. I could be missing something but the best distance for 5.56 is 25m.

Futhermore, i have the EXPS3 from eotech. While it might not be your exact site, i dont believe the zeroing procedure will be different.

Step 1: "Choose desired zero distance. Starting at 25y will make the initial process easier."

Step 2 to talks about MoA and PoA. If you constantly change your distance, then how do you actually know how many clicks are needed?

  6. DLsports, inc has eotech adjustment screw lockout covers! Once zero is found, you can prevent accidental issues or curious fingers from getting at them and they keep dirt out abit more too. That comoany is seriously under appreciated and makes a ton of awesome accesories and guns. They may not be exactly modern by todays trends ,but they are proven ,robust ,reliable and extemely accurate.

  7. Ahhh i have just comented on a different short, and i never usually comment on posts, but your making zero sence to me, as i have no clue about firearms whatsoever. But i cant stop watching!!!! Im exited to learn

  8. I'd say feel free to use a sandbag for a rifle rest. The less movement you allow yourself in zeroing the better. Alot of folks out there won't be as mindful of their body and extraneous movement when they zero and they'll find themselves chasing holes all over the paper for a good few hours, lol.

  9. They make a lazer inside of a 5.56 sized case so you can insert it into the bore and gar a very good zero before firing, I use the longest length of area in my house and will zero off of that taking height over bore it I account.
