I picked up an A1 Mini 3D printer and wanted to compare it to my X1 Carbon, but I ended up scrapping the comparison and instead used both printers to print a 1:1 replica AR-15/M4 (sort of, it’s an airsoft housing).
The plan now, is to try and build a fully-functioning, 3D-printed AR replica that can push 400+ FPS. I’ve never played airsoft and I’ve never built (or even fired) an airsoft rifle, so it’s all going to be a learning experience. The whole thing (besides internals) will be 3D printed; I already have some of the airsoft parts on the way.
