Finally got my hands on onf of bear creek new Bolt action AR-15 uppers ! just a quick little unboxing along with a quick inspection, comparison to stand AR parts and a bore scope !
Uintah Precision is a better option. They've improved their design over the years, and quality is better. They also send you their Vitrum single stage adjustable trigger with the purchase of an Upper.
I will soon be adding a 24" .308 to the arsenal. I've got plenty of LR308 10, 20 and 25 rd mags. Lets be honest, the Small/Large frame AR platform is the most flexible, modular weapon platform the U.S. has ever had. An AR can be whatever you need it to be.
What an absolutely amazing concept i would love to get the 450 bushmaster 18 inch upper and the fact that it works with standard lowers is out of this world !!!!
Those calibers were already bolt actions in those uppers you guys just went ahead and upgraded them to actually be bolt action. Best move you ever made
Bolt handle seems to be mounted way too far forward. Seems better mounted towards the rear even if it needs to go into buffer tube. It should be right above the trigger area ideally
