My review of the @ChestersHobbies flattest shooting 9mm PCC/large-format braced pistol suppressed build using a Vltor A5 length buffer tube (I used a Forward Controls RE5F) with a Tubb AR-10 flat wire buffer spring (48 coils) and Kynshot RB5007 Hydraulic Buffer with comparison to the JP Silent Captured Spring system I’ve been using for the past couple years with H2 weight and the “no color”, heaviest JP ar-15 spring on my CMMG Banshee 5″ upper (Gen1). Chester noted this Custom Banshee setup is especially flatter than an MP5, Sig MPX, or CMMG Dissent when using a suppressor. The A5 style buffer system uses a longer buffer tube with 7.75″ internal depth vs the traditional 7″ carbine tube, and this lengthens the cycle resulting in a lower force and gentler recoil impulse. This buffer system build was established by @c3junkie except I’m using the Ar10/308 Tubb spring instead of the ar15 spring since that’s what Cheser used. Side note: CMMG just released a fixed ejector Banshee, which is what I would get if I didn’t already have this Gen1 that needs regular replacement of the ejector spring–I check strength every 200 rounds if they were mostly suppressed. If the Banshee with fixed ejector is reliable, then I would consider that upper with my A5 Radian lower to be the best 9mm PCC when it comes to a soft shooting 9mm PCC that mimics AR15 controls.

Keep us posted I've tried a few different configurations on 5" 9mm banshee but its so short hard to find something to open action all the way for ejection
Firsties!!
