Link for the Surefire tailcap adapter: Link for the Surefire ST07 pressure switch and UE tailcap assembly: I am not affiliated with any of these companies (Arisaka, Surefire, or Streamlight), I'm just passing along helpful information.
So bought another product from Arisaka, it’s the Streamlight Protac Rail Mount 1&2 adapter, it’s probably the best thing you can buy, if you have a Streamlight. So go get one while they’re in stock. Arisakadefense.com Also go visit my friend @lineonegear He has ear pro wraps, Ammo bags, Belts…
The problem is, if you have to eat the cost and buy the adapter and Surefire pressure pad, you might as well have bought a Surefire to begin with for that price. That defeats the point of it being such a great budget piece of kit unfortunately.
It's cheap made China garbage. Let's stop supporting the Chinese economy…. Let's stop propping up the Chinese government… They are not our friends. We've all been programmed to think Russia this Russia that. . It was never russia. It was always China. Now more than ever. Wake up America.
I had to put a small piece of electrical tape on the mod button adapter beacuse the connection was too lose. The looseness caused the light to flicker, or not turn on at all. Putting some small tape in there completely fixed my issue. I was seeing tons of comments online on how hit or miss that button is, and it seems they were right, but now it works flawlessly. I love the low profile and the small footprint it takes on my rail.
Before I decided it just piece a light together on my 10.5 upper, this is the exact set up I was looking at. Definitely makes the streamlights a way more viable option!
I run my light on my support hand side and just use the clicky cap. It works with a natural support hand grip, just take your thumb off the top of the rail (c-clamp) and actuate the light with it. It also makes light discipline easy because it’s not coming on without you consciously making the effort to activate it.
100% correct and I hated the pad. Worked for a short time(very short) and that was it. I honestly gave up on pressure pads and went to strictly tail cap button.

Great solution! I've had issues with the pads too. Thanks for this!
HLX switch def sucks, which makes the whole unit setup!!!! I'd rather rock Surefire G2X

This is exactly what I did. I didn’t give the stock pressure pad a chance to fail. I swapped it out immediately for a Surefire pressure pad
I’ve got it too. The adapter and tail switch cost more than the light
. Lol

No link?
Pressure pads sucks. I dont even use one.
Does this have constant on/off?
Good stuff. Although I’ve never had any issues with mine. This is a great alternative for my shotgun, thanks!
I’ve ran the stock pressure pad and switch for years no issues at all
But I like the look of the arisaka set up

Unity is working in something for streamlight
foxtrot msr has been amazing for a budget light for me
Great Information Brother – Thank you!!!
Unity came out with a pressure pad just for stream light
Do you have an emissary handbrake + or the original handbrake on your dream build. Also, how close does the OD green match your B5 Furniture? Thanks!

Ive had mine for over a year with a unity hot button
Good information
Streamlight sucks. I've had nothing but problems.
Do you think using the edge of the pad versus the middle might extend the longevity of it?
Definitely appreciate that information.
