LEP flashlights

Showing the difference between LED & LEP flashlights with similar lumens using the @streamlightinc Microstream USB.
If I knew the @lumintop_flashlight Thor Mini didn’t work on the high mode in the cold, I wouldn’t have bought it. If I hadn’t gotten it in the summer when it worked fine, I would have returned it. I like the light a lot except for that. The 18350’s don’t like the cold apparently. If they made an extension tube for an 18650, maybe this wouldn’t happen in the cold. I should probably reach out to them…
I really like the @maratac_inc DX Reach from @countycomm_gov
It takes 18650’s with the included sleeve, 20700’s & 21700’s. It is a bigger light. But only $25 more than the Lumintop and way more reach with a tighter beam.
These lights obviously aren’t for looking at things close up.
There’s many LEP options out there these days but nothing else beats the price point of the Maratac with the throw that it has. Definitely worth the price.

Also, I know there is a choppy sound in the video. Seems like something is wrong with the camera on my phone. Probably going to have to upgrade soon.

And maybe I should do this again on a clear night…
