We spoke with a Streamlight rep who indicated that there were no dimensional differences between the original TLR-7 Sub and the new TLR-7 X Sub. We were able to secure a Sig TLR-7 X Sub to double-check what we were told.
Trust, but verify.
The only difference we see is the ability to use SL-B9 batteries in the TLR-7 X Sub.
