Nice set up, Im thinking about getting this same setup. Where did you get the rider plate from? One of my stock is only 1 1/2 inches wide.
How is that front rest holding up after 5 years? Still using it?
Very informative video Thanks
Those slippers are standard issue for all benchrest shooters.
Forget the fancy BR stocks and expensive front rests. Those slips give you the competition edge.

I would like to make one of those aluminum plates for my Tikka. Can you please tell me the aluminum plate length?
Thanks
Sounds funny when you refer to your BR rifle as a "weapon" .
I have the Bald Eagle just like yours as well. I also have the longer legs and big round spike footprints. It works great for me. Some of the ranges I have shot at you need the taller leg screws due to the grass etc and terrain. BTW I also looked at the SEB NEO which I will not argue is the Mercedes of rest however with the money I saved allowed me to purchase other items for shooting as well. Let's face it F-Class is an expensive hobby, gear, equipment, re-loading etc and especially to travel to a 2-day match plus one extra day of practice for sight in etc as you know.
Thank you for the review. I just purchased one for 25m outdoor heavy varmit air rifle competition.
Thanks for the vid, Grimstod.
I know it's an old review, but thanks. You explained all the functions much better than the manufacturer does.
Looks like anything comparable is several hundred dollars more from other makers. Should suit my needs well.
Thanks, again.
Can you get a rear bag made for hunting style stocks? They all seem to be horizontal like yours for horizontal type stocks. Thanks in advance.
Hello, can you tell me more about your rear rest. Make, model, price range, etc.
Thanks!
Nice video, thanks. Very nice setup.
How in the HELL do you fill the front rest with sand. I bought the 3" model and I have opened it up and the sand will not fill into the middle cavity…..WTH????
That is about the coolest rifle I've ever seen built on a Mosin action. Great job !
I noticed that the front cradle (where the rifle fore stock rests/where you placed the aluminum plate) of the rest swivels. Is there a way to tighten it down so it doesn't?
Best Moze ever.
where did you get those aluminum 3/8 plates?
that was very interesting… love that stock too… what is it
