Eotech Killer or Just A Cheap Knock-Off? Neo Optics HH1

While the Neo Optics HH1 is maybe an acceptable range toy or airsoft optic, which is a stretch. It is far from being suitable for any type of serious use. The body is well made and the glass is strong. But the on board functions like auto-off do not work. The reticle does not hold zero under my normal durability test. And the reticle brightness is nearly unusable in anything other than a shaded or dark environment. In the end, this is a $100 optic wrapped up in a ridiculous $300 price tag. Just spend your money elsewhere.

  1. Sig Romeo 5 with a Reptilia mount. 50k hours advertised, 2.5 years in my experience. a touch over $200 on a bad day. no issues with holding zero on my end. the standard mount sucks though. I torqued the bolt to spec and it still stripped. which is why I recommend the Reptilia T1 mount.

  2. Get a gideon optic (they all come with pic rail mounts) and save like $100 for better china tech. Holosun HE503CU will get you a proven "donut of death" reticle for $220 shipped on a aimpoint t2 footprint. There's too many good options in that price range to gamble.

  3. Great review Matt it's definitely just a range toy but I definitely think you got a bad one when it comes to the emitter or whatever it is. Still not a good look either way. I also completely forgot to congratulate you on 50k yesterday when we were on the phone.
