In this video we compare and contrast the PSA (budget) and the BCM (mid tier) rifles. We talk about the pros and cons for each and try to give some buying guidence. Don’t come at me in the comments about classifying BCM as mid tier. Its “mid tier” due to cost not performance.

Prior to EVERY video, weapons are checks and cleared, even if you do not see it in the video. A lot of times, it may appear as though firearms are being pointed at heads or arms or bodies and this is often due to the camera angle at which the videos are filmed. 1. I recently bought a magpul PSA lower for $139 and a mid length 16in upper with a 4150cmv barrel (just as good as hammered forge, in my opinion) for $289, rail was even coated in FDE for a grand total of $428 now that you cannot beat! And not mention PSA is great company to support. Their mission is freedom over profit, arm as many citizens as possible. Very pro 2A and great customer service. You also can eventually throw in a BCM bcg and radian charging handle and it will be just as good as the higher end ones

  2. I have a ruger 5.56 that the only thing ruger left on it is the stripped upper and lower. I've trained with it for 12 years, and now that the gun has all new parts , I probably have 3,200 in it now its going to be my daughters first AR, I also have a bcm 11.5, bg deffence type A 7.5 300 blk out, and 223 wyld radian 14.5 and a couple of them cost close to that and did not even come with back up irons on them. I love the ruger for an AR. If you can't get a 2600 to 3 grand rifle right away. You can build on an already great platform that has been proven for many years. Now i agree bcm upper n aero lower if you have another 600 bucks its worth it.

  3. Bcm upper with free bcg 850 check the blem page pretty frequent good deals on uppers for even less, psa Sabre lower with geisselle ssa trigger radion ambi saftey other lower upgrades for 350, pretty nice set up feels really premium for 1200.

  4. Just a stripped lower and build it to you own personl specs I love my 11.5 shtf rifle PSA lower Aero lower parts kit Warhammer charging handle Bcm bcg roscoe bloodline 11.5 barrel superlative arms 750 Adjustable gas block SB 4 pistol brace midwest m lok rail all about 1600 with accessories holosun 510 with magnifier handstop 45 degree flip ups and cheap Amazon weapons light(will upgrade nxt week) but yea thats my beech

  5. It’s 736 dollars before tax for a bcm upper with BCG and CH on the BCM website. Throw a 300 dollar lower setup on it and call it good. There’s no reason to get a SABRE when you can get a BCM at the same price. Obviously y’all are comparing the basic PSA rifle here but the Sabre really doesn’t make any sense to me at its price point

  6. lol.. its all about the love… i did a PSA lower n upper, and used B5 stock and grip, Larue barrel, Larue handguard, and internals were a geissle lpk and bcg.. it shoots wonderful.. its all about the love u give it..and the fun u have

  7. The only issue I have ever had with PSA is a 300 BLK that was headspaced too tight. I would love to see a video of sustained fire on one to see how the bolt etc holds up vs. the expensive options. I'm doubtful there is a huge accuracy difference unless the barrel gets very hot. PSA also offers forged FN barrels on some higher end options.
