Eotech EFLX VS Leupold DPP

Let’s compare the Leupold DPP to the Eotech EFLX. They have the same delta point pro (DPP) footprint, both take a top load 2032 battery, aluminum bodies, and solid windage & elevation adjustments. The Eotech has a much better battery life, two button controls, less expensive, and clearer glass. The Leupold is made in the states, has a larger window, easier to change the battery and a spot to add in a rear sight if needed.

  1. Sage dynamics showed that the EFLX won't hold it's zero after a simple drop. Tried it on multiple units. For that reason, I'm out on the EFLX. Maybe the next will be better. Hopefully they just fix the current ones and somehow offer a trade up feature or something. Holding zero through drops should be the minimum standard for these.

  2. I got mine when it first came out and I put a 1000 freedom seeds thru the platform it's on and little after a 1000 my dot went all the way to the top left corner and wouldn't move. They are in the process of sending me a new one since I sent it in last week. I called them yesterday and they said they are replacing it. So they still have great customer service but I didn't expect a failure a little after a 1000. They said it was some kid of adhesive failure which made no sense because the glass wasn't kicked sideways and it had never been dropped.
