The ATF also said pistol braces were legal for 12 years, too, but then changed their mind with a rule. So the idea that the ATF won't infringe on the definition of an AR-15 frame if this case is decided in their favor is total garbage. In Knoxville tn the city council passed a law which said if a bar had live dancing rhen the entity would be required to pay a huge entertainment tax, supposedly for strip clubs, and said it could never pertain to regular bars that allowed their patrons to dance to a juke box or a live singer!

Jump a few years down rhe road and now they enforce that law even on the small dive bars!

Congress makes laws , not the ATF. The supreme court should advise them of that.

Let’s not lose sight of the big picture: the constitution gives the government no right to ban fully auto weapons either. This is a moot point: you can’t ban it legally whether it’s semi auto or full auto. Both are clearly arms appropriate to a militia. So both are fully protected from infringement.

Get back to basics: as written and intended the constitution allows NO law restricting fully auto weapons.

It may, as may a rectangular block of aluminum, be shaped into a receiver. Taking he logic out, ATF could ban a bag of aluminum cans as a ghost gun, because by putting the cans in a bag you have taken the first step to recycle them into a receiver.

She is lying. The low receiver for an ar15 is the same for an m16 pre machining. In other words, if you possess an 80% ar15 lower the atf is going to charge you with possessing a machine gun. The atf knows what they are trying to accomplish.
