Just stumbled onto your video. I purchased the Colt 22 conversion kit new back around 1990. I've run quite a few rounds through mine over the last 30 years primarily plinking and hunting small game. Not sure how many rounds I've fired through it but probably is over 2,000+. I don't recall ever having a malfunction using the kit in several different Colt ARs.
Sir this is a great video thank you so much. I guess I bought the sign or a while back and I couldn't remember who made it. Explain and demonstrated the difference between the two.
I just have a question and it is I was talking about this conversion skit with somebody and his comment was don't shoot 22 through my 223 and forbell because it will ruin it. Any truth to that if you know or opinion
There are some great prices on the CMMG three 25er kits floating around right now. It’s been on my to-do list for a while, you convinced me…twist my arm with the threat of a good time.
Only time in my 24 year career that I failed to qualify expert was with one of these stupid Colt kits. My unit was trying to save money, so everybody got to qualify with these suckers. When I held my hand up that I had a malfunction, I looked down the line and saw half a dozen other hands up.
I wonder if the cmmg 9mm endo mag was inspired by the colt kit having the ejector on the mag? I picked up the cmmg .22lr kit a while back for my boy to use. He really prefers the youth green meanie clone by crickett. Ended up being a good buy for plinking. Thanks!
