Thanks for making this vid. Good luck to your bro. I hope he makes it back safe. Would you consider posting a parts list? In particular who makes that flash suppressor/muzzle break? Is that a breach one?
@eyanvenom I use both. The XTMs where I put my hands because of better protection, and the ladder rails where I don't place my hands because they are lighter. Check out my AR15 build video and you will see my current setup
@rllang01
hey thanx. it was, but I decided to make them and show what I wish was out there when I was just starting. this stuff is really easy, and a ton of fun. now go out and build one!
I actually just got an AFG a few days ago. Haven't been to the range with it yet, so I can't tell you anything too constructive except that is solid, locks up good on the rail, feels more ergonomic than just the bare rail, weighs 2.8 ounces so it's not that heavy, and is far cheaper than most decent VFGs you will find on the market. It is a unique way of holding your rifle though, and I never had any problems with a regular VFG, so we will see.
I love them. I've been using them as primary sights for a while and they have never given me problems, and have held zero every time I head back to the range. If you don't want to pay a fortune for BUIS, they are an excellent option.

I'm stuck between the XTM rails and the Ladders. Which gives your hand more protection when your barrel heats up? Which do you prefer?
Very cool of you to take the time to film while building.
How's that rifle done on the range?
What grip is that?
sweetest rifle i have ever seen nice
