If the price is too good to be true… I did get one of these in Japan, it was an EXPS2-0 with a G33 Magnifier. It was sold for airsoft use. If you have a real Eotech, the weight and the optics alone are a dead give away. Cost me about $100? But they did not sell them as real steel Eotech but airsoft replica. And no it can't hold zero lol But I did try the fake magnifier and it does work with my real Eotech, but would I trust it in a real world scenario? No. If anyone tries and sells this at full or discounted price as real steel Eotech, they are theives.
You can tell by logo and font style for eotech as well.
Thanks, I purchased one at the Mesquite, Tx gun show from Blueforce. Fake news! I contacted them for documents on the EOTech and never heard back! These companies show up at gun shows and act like reputable distributors but they use unsuspecting people like myself.
this is the first video where i actually saw the eotech reticle clearly on camera
Looks like a decent fake eotech to mount on an airsoft rifle. Not sure why anyone would ever want to mount these on a real gun. Super sketchy. 😅
Thanks, none of the other videos mentioned the tiny red dot on the real one and I thought I got a really convincing fake.
Glass clarity was the giveaway for me. Fake glass is clearly inferior
where to get the fake one? Asking for a friend
Very cool info and they do look a lot alike
Very informative. Thanks for the info. I wasn’t sure how to spot the difference
Also, I forgot to add if you hit the NV button on the fake one, it changes the reticle to green
