  2. MG30FX used to sound OK in my recollection. I repaired one a while back, was a decent practice amp etc.

    Anyway, if you tire of this and want to replace it, try the Laney Lionheart Foundry Super 60 112 – might be the best budget analogue solid state combo on the market at the moment.

  3. If you find one used I can recommend the Fender Super Champ XD. Its a valve and modelling amp that they discontinued a few years back. Sounds excellent at low volumes. I got mine for about Β£150 used. I use it all the time on my videos, gigs etc. Worth a look at.
