You can put a small magnetic strip on the stock to get it to stay folded. Shouldn't have to do that imo, but it does work. Have one as well and they are work horses

Awesome video! Have you done any trigger work? I’ve had a mutant for a few years and when I upgraded the trigger I had to upgrade the trigger spring and the firing pin because I was getting light primer strikes with steel casing

I’ve had a CMMG Mutant for about eight years. It’s my favorite rifle. Solid knockdown power with better accuracy than an AK-47. I’m glad I stocked up on 7.62×39 steel case ammo when it was $200 for a 1,000 round case. Always enjoy the hog busting videos 👍🏻

I’ve had great luck with my Sig Spear LT in 7.62×39. Doesn’t have all the quirks of a 7.62×39 AR. Still able to load on bolt hold open, folding stock, adjustable gas, and even has ambi controls. You should check one of them out, I think you would like it.

What if you bump up the gas a touch, will it lock back on empty?

Haven't put in the same amount of work with the KS-47. But I like the set-up. And the old 7.62×39 continues to get it done a field.

I gotta get me one of those Dissents sometime, the RiX fits it well!
