  1. I have that barrel in 300blk but still feel I need to enlarge the gas hole just a touch. But I love how short the overall package is and it shoots 110gr V-max loads well.

  2. There's also a problem with being to big.
You have to be careful where you use it.
Your neighbors don't want to hear all the Wonderful loud noises especially at night.
Some say it's hard to hold on to and when it really gets going the friction can cause blisters were you do want them. At least that's what the women I've taken out to have some fun with have said.
Being large has it's down falls. More times than not when I let a women play with it they only play with it once. They say it's just to big for them to handle.

  3. There is test of underwood 9mm 70g go a little over 1700 f/s from glock17

So its power not that much different but from the result
    its character is very different

    5.56 1800 f/s is pass through gel
Due to the bullet need more speed to break apart

But larger bullet with small grain like 9mm. 70g its stop in the gel about 12 inch but it dump all energy in the target and you have options to run 124g +p for more penetration

If you wana run shorty setup under 6” i think 9mm. Pcc may be better but over 8” 5.56 will go over 2400 f/s and that when pcc can not beat power of real rifle rd.

  4. "Just because you can, it doesn't mean you should" – as the saying goes. That length of barrel feels more at home for someone who wants to excuse their pistol braces and think they have a "pistol".

  5. It looked like the speeds were increasing with each shot on the shorter barrels, maybe its burning the powder more efficiently as the barrely heats up? Could be interesting to check out, kinda like the second silencer shot being quieter
