The CMMG MK47 Dissent aka the Mutant aka the AR – AK mashup. The MK47 has always been one of my favorite rifles, taking AK magazines but with AR style controls. Now the MK47 is available in the Dissent line with a folding stock that can be fired with the stock open or closed aka a bufferless system. The MK47 Dissent also has a very good trigger, adjustable stock, and adjustable gas block.

There is no way I would spend that kind of money on an AR/AK hybrid when you can still buy a WASR-10 for around 800 bucks and a ZPAP-M70 for a bit over 1,000 💵 AND fully assembled AR's from places like Palmetto State Armory for under 400.
