  1. Did strike industries change the material used to make the stock stop? I purchased 2 when this was originally introduced a few years ago and those appear to be made from a stronger 0laatic material than the ones I bought just last week. The new ones are made from a softer more brittle plastic and if you install it and try to remove it you may end up destroying the stock stop…

Did I get defective parts or did the material used change from early versions and new ones?

  2. True..the music is irritating. But the product is a 'must have' for fixing a stock. Just to be clever, I tried to unpin the lever on my Magpul stock. I got it done…and got the right size spacer cut. However…and it's a HUGE however, this takes special tools and a decent knowledge of how to do this type of thing. The Stock Stop from Strike Industries couldn't be easier. I do recommend not cutting to their spec using their index lines. I fixed mine to the farthest rear position…and had a bit of play when I tried the adjuster. I don't like that…..so I cut off a piece of the remaining end (…the one w/ the tab on it) and put it in the slider slot. The stock pin popped right back in…and there's almost zero play when I actuate the slider. It's better to just 'eyeball' the cut by laying the stock stop and the channel and cutting accordingly. Great product though. I got one for my brother too..as he's looking for a good fix to this same problem.

  3. They really need to give instructions on how to pin different stock positions. I was easily able to pin mine in the 6th position, but took a bit of figuring out 1st. If anyone wants to know how, ask and I will tell you how.
