I agree. Heck, I have both models and I use the aaa version of the microstream over the usb version of the microstream. USB upgrade just makes it bigger and 5 lumens brighter without adding any runtime. Click it on the high mode and you’re just wasting batteries with the super short runtime. When I need a lot of light, I just carry a bigger light so that I get a decent run time with it if I’m working or going into harm’s way. Ergo, the Stylus Pro or Stylus Pro USB.
