Bolt Action stock, similar to the Magpul Hunter, with a vertical grip would be nice. A vertical grip add-on for the Magpul Hunter would also be nice.

reverse with the integrated QD would be slick.
I like that stock! I run the MFT minimalist with some custom mods (QD sling swivel added) on my go-to SHTF rifle because its lightweight, gets the job done and offers a good hand hold for hiking and maneuvering through urban congestion and forests and undergrowth.
This new Magpul looks to have a large enough opening for a good hand hold and has some snag free geometry, something the MFT definitely doesnt have.
Gonna have to check it out.

Since bufferless ARs are becoming prevalent it'd be wise for Magpul to dedicate more attention to stocks that are thinner and mount via 1913 rail.

I dont see why buffer tube has to be cylinderical shape
creating a solution for a problem you definitely knew about when you made the first version. one of the sloppiest stocks ive ever owned. akin to the cheap junk you can find online or peddled at gun shows.

When do people realize that if something is "good enough", you dont need to spend hundreds of dollars on a replacement. A stock is a stock. Spending hundreds of dollars on these marginal "upgrades" just encourages companies to continue to make filler garbage. You as the consumer have the power to force companies to innovate simply by NOT BUYING their garbage. They said it themselves in the video. They have TWENTY DIFFERENT FUCKING STOCKS. By not buying it, you force them to make something worth a shit.

You can make a grate stock but can't make a 6.8 spc p mag for mil lowers. Day 28 of asking #6.8spc
I wonder when Magpul will get into the free-floating hand guard market. I always think of that when I watch these videos that talk about their grips, qd mounts or rail systems that are paired with other companies hand guards.
